East African Yacht Charters is a brand owned by a company registered in Zanzibar, Tanzania. As owners of the company we are East African born and bred. Growing up along the East African coastline, sailing, windsurfing, fishing and freediving, we are seasoned watermen and East African specialists with over 60 accumulated years of experience in navigating and exploring the Swahili Coast from as far south as Nacala in Mozambique to as far north as Kiwayu in northern Kenya.
Forming the company in 2009
For over 10 years we have been operating live aboard yacht charters that are filled with activities such as sport fishing, freediving, selective spearfishing, scuba diving, snorkelling and cultural visits to the historical centres and peoples along the East African coast. Whether you are looking to participate in a scuba diving live aboard trip, a sport fishing live aboard to offshore fishing grounds, a simple and fun day trip to hidden gems along the coast, or simply cruise the East African coast to explore its sights and experience its sounds, with added experience in hospitality and tours of East African wildlife areas dating back to our teens, our experience to this point has taught us what you, our customer, wants and expects from a luxury and well planned yacht trip exploring the majestic East African coast.
